Samsung to build largest solar farm in California

Korean electronics conglomerate Samsung (005930.KS), along with a join venture with ENCO Utility Service, will develop a solar farm capable of producing 130 megawatts (MW) of photovoltaic solar power in California, according to a New York Times report.
The joint venture, called Solar Project Solutions, has signed 25-year power purchase agreements with the utility Pacific Gas and Electric.
Samsung has made big leaps toward sustainable energy with a recently signed deal to build wind farms and manufacturing facilities in Ontario.
